Building a secondary school in Malawi
A secondary boarding school is being built as part of the Malawi school project to give children access to quality, internationally renowned Cambridge education at a reduced fee. While families are asked to pay a small fee to ensure children's motivation for learning, the importance of providing a full curriculum in education and worship cannot be overstated.
This holistic approach ensures that students receive comprehensive educational instruction alongside spiritual guidance, fostering well-rounded development. The goal of this initiative is to support Malawi schools in creating an environment where children can thrive academically and spiritually, highlighting the transformative power of education in shaping the future of Malawi's youth.

The Malawi school project underscores the transformative power of education, creating an environment where students can thrive academically, physically, and spiritually.
BUILDING SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION IN MALAWI
The school is being constructed with a focus on reducing the cost of labor, materials, and reliance on power tools. This is being achieved through the use of Interlocking Stabilized Soil Blocks (ISSB). ISSB bricks are produced by compressing a mixture of local soil and cement, forming an interlocking pattern that significantly decreases the need for mortar.
This innovative construction method not only cuts down on the quantity of cement and sand required but also streamlines the building process, making it faster and more efficient. Additionally, ISSB blocks are environmentally friendly, promoting sustainability by utilizing locally sourced materials and reducing the carbon footprint associated with transportation and production of traditional building materials.
