ABOUT LWARTIZ ENTERPRISES
Lwartiz Enterprises was founded in December 2019. It is a self-supported independent Seventh-day Adventist Christian ministry based in Malawi. Lwartiz's co-founders are Bernard E. Taylor and Dr. Elias Kaunda. The organization educates people who otherwise would not be able to attend school due to financial circumstances but still dream of gaining more knowledge and skills.
Lwartiz is here to cater to those needs so that they can still comfortably learn and grow through excellent quality education at an affordable rate.

Bernard E. Taylor
Bernard E. Taylor brings a wealth of experience to his role, with a distinguished career spanning finance, leadership, and community development. His commitment to community service is evident through extensive volunteer work with renowned organizations such as World Vision, Books for Africa, and Global Health Action. At Malawi Adventist University (MAU), Malamulo Campus, Bernard served as Finance Manager, where he successfully revitalized financial strategies, illustrating his dedication to enhancing community welfare through sustainable initiatives.
Educationally equipped with a Master of Science in Global Community Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership, Bernard has fortified his expertise with certifications in Grant Writing, Nonprofit Leadership, and QuickBooks. His professional journey includes pivotal roles at Insperity and Dental Specialists of America, where he excelled in payroll processing, budget preparation, and fostering client relations. Bernard's leadership extends beyond corporate realms; his passion for volunteering reflects a deep-rooted commitment to community service, empowering individuals, and effecting impactful change.
Bernard embodies the essence of a dedicated volunteer, leader, and financial steward, poised to continue making a meaningful difference wherever his journey takes him. His compassionate and empathetic nature underscores his ability to contribute effectively to any organization or cause he supports. Dr. Elias Kaunda
Dr. Elias Kaunda, Chief Operating Officer and Co-founder of Lwartiz Enterprises Limited, brings extensive expertise from a distinguished career spanning both private and public sectors. With over 30 years of experience, he has excelled in finance, commercial operations, and strategic planning. Before his current role, Dr. Kaunda held senior management positions in Botswana and spent 15 years at Malawi Telecommunications Limited, where he now leads customer relations. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Leadership from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Andrews University, USA.
Active in his local Seventh-day Adventist church, Dr. Kaunda mentors youth and contributes to community leadership. His passion for education is evident through his involvement in establishing institutions, lecturing, and curriculum development across secondary and tertiary levels. His research focuses on strategic planning, corporate governance, and ethics, reflecting his commitment to advancing educational opportunities and organizational excellence.
Dr. Kaunda's comprehensive background in policy development, corporate strategy, and financial analysis underscores his dedication to driving impactful initiatives at Lwartiz, leveraging his multifaceted skills to enhance sustainable development and educational empowerment in Malawi.
